What a binaural beat actually is
Two steady tones, a few hertz apart, one in each ear. The brain perceives the difference as a third pulse. 2Hz is a deep-sleep (delta) neighborhood. 4–6Hz is theta — the edge of hypnosis and drifting. 8–12Hz is alpha, eyes-closed rest. The 3 a.m. session starts around 10Hz and walks down to 1Hz so you do not have to climb into sleep from a standing start.
Why hypnosis is in the mix
Beats nudge the electrical weather. Hypnosis gives the mind something useful to do once it is quieter: suggestions that racing thoughts can pass, that the jaw can unclench, that morning is later. William writes them the way he used to spec a circuit — short, specific, no fluff.
How to use this room
- Stereo headphones. Speakers will not split the tones.
- A volume you can forget about. Louder is not better.
- Do not drive, operate machinery, or use this as a medical treatment.
- Sleep Reset is the 10-minute landing. Deep Slumber is bedtime. Anxiety Release is for the storm. Inner Peace is a daytime return. 3AM is for the nightstand.
- If you wake, do not check the clock. Press play again.
What this player is playing
Each session generates the binaural layer at the frequency listed on that Therapeutic Mindworks program, over a quiet brown-noise bed, with on-screen suggestions matched to the session’s intent. The spoken studio masters live with William’s storefront; this room is the place you come back to them at night, without hunting through email.
